Zethos Implements Dynamics at Greenbrier
Greenbrier engaged Zethos Consulting to Manage the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics across the Manufacturing Division. This includes the Rail and Marine divisions running on legacy ERP systems. This project covers the US and Mexico facilities.
The scope of this project was to replace 3 legacy ERP systems with Microsoft Dynamics. For the rail division we implemented a new engineering system to manage drawings and engineering change orders. This engineering system is integrated into DAX. For the Marine Division we interfaced the Ship Constructor engineering system into DAX.
Microsoft Dynamics
Microsoft Dynamics was a great fit for Greenbrier. We utilized projects in Dynamics to build the barges and we used the discrete manufacturing parts of Dynamics to build rail cars. This is all done within one instance of Dynamics.
This project allowed Greenbrier to retire 3 legacy ERP applications. We standardized the business processes across the plants along with standardized reporting. We accomplished this with the help of strong business leadership from Greenbrier to standardize their systems and processes.
