This example funnel shows the process we follow to get down to the three finalists. The process is equal and when we reach the three finalists we process them through our rigorous demo process. We supply the test scripts we want executed at the demo and the data to use. We strongly believe in getting the software chosen to be a tight fit.
Demo Script
Demo Scripts are key. They should be complete and address all aspects of the demo. This includes the demonstration of the software's technology capabilities. Example - Show how to modify a screen, add data attributes and write a report. We also look at the impact analysis capabilities to ensure the software is robust if customizations are required.
Make sure the differentiating Criteria is weighted more than the standard functionality items. You want to conform to the non-differentiating areas and ensure the software picked conforms to your non-negotiable areas of the business that is a must have.
